Tiara Mbonisi

Tiara Mbonisi (Bo-knee-see) is a womanist, writer, educator, and an aspiring historian from Oakland, California. Her roots lay in social justice, women’s empowerment, k-12 education, and storytelling via mass/digital media. She holds a BA in Africana Studies from San Francisco State University and is currently finishing her 2nd year as a masters student in the Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies Department (WGSS) at Georgia State University.
